The Elders Speak
This segment features Ted Mitchell and Arnie Neptune, Penobscot Elders and Joseph “Cozy” Nicholas, Passamaquoddy elder, who passed on in July. All of the elders talk about discrimination, changes to their community and the loss
of native language and traditions. All convey a message for the younger generation to remember who they are and the importance of their traditions to their culture and their future.
